Broncos are Playoff Contenders I was shocked when I watched the Broncos beat … Continue reading NFL: 5 Takeaways From Week 1

Colin Kaepernick: Rallying For Change

Some of the venom spewed towards Colin Kaepernick has been off of the wall. Fans calling him the “N” word, NFL executives saying “F__k him” and calling him a “traitor”. They see him as being a person who has thrown away his identity as an American and shouldn’t be allowed to play football. He has been highly successful at what he has done. At 17 years old, Ebner became the youngest player ever to play on the United States National Rugby Sevens team. Ebner … Continue reading Nate Ebner: From Tragedy to Success

32 Teams in 32 Days: New England Patriots

To continue our 32 Teams in 32 Days NFL Preview, I will take an in-depth look at the New England Patriots. Last year the Patriots entered the season as defending Super Bowl champions. For the first 11 weeks of the season, they looked like they could repeat as champs, but as we all know they ended up losing to the eventual Super Bowl winners in the AFC Championship Game. For Patriots fans that result was definitely heartbreaking, but hey you can’t win them all folks. As far as this upcoming season goes, it will be a challenge for the first four weeks when quarterback Tom Brady will be unavailable to play because of his Deflategate suspension. Despite Brady’s impending absence I think Patriots fans should still have high hopes for their team this season. Now it’s time to look ahead to this team’s 2016-17 season. Here’s what we can expect.
