Tonight, WWE presents Fastlane live from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This is the last major show before Wrestlemania so tonight’s results should give us insight into the company’s direction for the big show. The main event of last year’s Fastlane event featured Roman Reigns wrestling Daniel Bryan for the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 31. A year later we’re in a strangely similar scenario. We have a number one contender’s match once again featuring Reigns, except this time he’s facing Lesnar as well as longtime ally Dean Ambrose. We also have a part time champion in Triple H absent from the card.
Daniel Bryan meanwhile, shockingly retired from active competition a few weeks back. WWE should take a lesson from Bryan’s career to guide their booking of tonight’s main event; Dean Ambrose should win tonight and main event Wrestlemania against Triple H. Bryan’s run was fueled by a spectacular chemistry with the fans. While Ambrose isn’t quite as beloved, he is definitly the biggest babyface in this match. Roman Reigns crowd reactions are still mixed while Brock Lesnar, though loved by fans, has been presented as well Brock Lesnar (neither a face or a heel). WWE has a chance to tell a new and compelling story. The Authority angle is boring, but seeing the lunatic seeking to capture the championship and get rid of The Auhtority once and for all could make for very entertaining television. Dean Ambrose has “it”. He can be a star for the WWE, they just need to break from tradition and give him a chance. My fingers are crossed…

Now the Predictions
Alberto Del Rio vs. Kalisto in a Best 2 out of 3 falls match for the United States Championship
![us.jpg](https://thedemotape.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/us.jpg?w=720)
Wan G – I hope Kalisto remains champ because I’m tired of seeing the belt go back and forth. No one is going on a run if they switch the title every month. Alberto is a good champ but if they wanted him carry the title long-term he would’ve never lost it. Kalisto is highly favored in this match. Kalisto
BDJ – My problem with 2 out of 3 falls matches is that they almost always come down to a third fall. Predictability aside, I think Kalisto retains his title. Del Rio just hasn’t been clicking since his return to the company. When he took the title off of Cena it felt like a big deal, sadly though he’s become just another guy. Kalisto
Sio – I’m predicting Kalisto, I think the crowd is behind him in a traditional sense because he is the face in the situation. ADR’s run as champion was mediocre at best. This feud is hard to get behind because there really is no story to it. Kalisto
