Like everything in life, somebody has to come out on the short end of things. As far as the NBA Draft, we can already foresee some teams ending up back in the lottery next season. As for some, they have promising young talent to build around for the future. Some teams even set themselves up, with the addition of some moves in free agency, to end up right back in playoff contention. Here we are; the night of the NBA Draft. 60 prospects will hear their names called tonight and fulfill their dreams of playing in the NBA. Alongside the selection of prospects by NBA executives comes plenty of storylines heading into the draft. Will DeMarcus Cousins stay in Sacramento? Who will roll the dice on Kristaps Porzingis. Thoughts on the 2015 XXL Freshman Class

My feelings about the XXL freshman class range from shock, to enjoyment, to curiosity. On one hand, I’m excited for some artists I picked to be in the class that made it; one of which I’ve said should be in it for years. On the other hand, I feel some like some artists most definitely got snubbed. Vince Staples finally got his shine while Lil Herb was snubbed once again. The Heavyweights of Baltimore Rap

Baltimore has never had a solid group of rappers to represent the city.

Baltimore City is known for its crabs, sports teams, and well… violence and drugs. Other major cities such as Detroit, Los Angelos, Chicago, and, of course, New York have gotten their spotlight in the rap game. Music-wise, all Baltimore had in the last 20 years was King Los, Dru Hill, and the faces of Baltimore Club Mix. Little ole’ Baltimore, had yet to get it’s chance to shine until the summer of 2014.
